EMTP consultancy, SPE is pleased to announce that it has recently invested in the EMTP-RV software simulation package produced by Powersys in France. This highly sophisticated electromagnetic analysis package complements our existing suite of software programs and allows us to carry out more sophisticated studies for transformer inrush, insulation coordination, transient damping, capacitor bank switching, motor and generator dynamic responses, energisation and switching of long cable/overhead line circuits, and much more.
This new package will substantially increase SPE’s capacity to deliver these more complex studies, and help our clients deliver more sophisticated studies to meet the increasingly stringent demands of network operators.
