Megger Det 2/2

SPE is pleased to announce that it has recently purchased a Megger Det 2/2 earth tester and associated test reels and cables. Previously SPE had subcontracted soil resistivity surveys to local companies, but in recent years have found that in many cases it is easier and more cost effective if one of our own specialists attends the site to carry out the soil resistivity survey or post installation tests.

We plan to add more details about the Megger Det 2/2 auto tester and the various techniques of using it, in the Information pages – so check back soon.

The DET2/2 digital ground resistance tester provides a wide resistance range from 0.010 Ω to 19.99 kilohms for testing larger or more complex grounding systems and for difficult testing environments, with ±0.5% accuracy and 0.001 Ω resolution. Microprocessor control and advanced filtering simplify testing in environments with high levels of interference.
